Greetings from Darmstadt (near Frankfurt) in Germany, I'm Alonzo, owner of www.manta-der-film.de a website all about Manta movies.

I am now 30 years old and since I was 18
I have owned a Manta B, but not always the same one!

My first I got even before I had my driving license! My first Manta was a Berlinetta Model with the 1.9 N 75 HP engine (editors note - a low compression version of the C.I.H. not available in the uk).

The next I still have in my garage is a 1988 GSi Exclusive,  which has been off the road for over 5 years because of a crash, but this year it will be done and the car should run again.

Here is the specification:

• 2.2 i, with Lexmaul ram induction and v2a exhaust system 62,5 mm.

• -40 mm deep, front 7x15 205x50 back 7x15 225x50 on ATS cup.

• Melon-yellow paintwork with black hood and front (old GT/e style). It is totally restored, under body with new paint, every rubber part at the car is changed to a new one.

• Only v2a screws used, inside it has 400 seats and a new roof in black.

Between these cars I also had a 1987 GSi Exclusive in rally black with Mattig front, -60 mm, on the wheels which are now on my restored Manta.
