Come August
the 1st this year, it will be 14yrs since I've bought
this car from new. I use the car every day she covers
about 35 miles a day. She takes a lot of work to keep her
in this condition I'm out there most weekends cleaning, I
also keep her in a garage, which helps. Its almost all
totally original all the paint is original apart from the
front & rear bumpers due to stone chips.
She was
number 4 from the end of the production line when they
stopped producing the GTE's, Berlinettas & changed
production to the Exclusive's.
The biggest
things that have been changed mechanically have been the
water pump, oil pump and cam top cover. Anything that has
been changed has been replaced with genuine Opel parts. I
manage to do all the maintenance myself. She starts first
time in all weathers come rain sleet or snow; she's just
a lovely little car! Always a pleasure to drive.
