I have had
this car for about 2yrs now. It has a 2.0ltr engine and
as it's my daily drive, I cover about 300 miles a week in
it. The reason it's not original is the fact it has
electronic ignition and no body stripes. I also have it
on good authority, that this is an original factory
reproduction prototype, although I've not been able to
confirm this in writing, yet!
Come the end of the year it is coming off
the road as I am going to replace the front wings, doors,
boot lid and rear valance as I've got better panels and I
want to get the car as good as possible and respray it in
the same colour ochre yellow, with the proper decals
& body stripes. This is the first time I have won
anything at Billing and with all the hard work I have put
into the car I was over the moon winning.
I also have
seven other Mantas from hatches to a couple of GTE coupes
and an A series. Two are on the road, one awaiting an
engine, one that needs half a days work to be one the
road, two projects and one scrappy. Plus a hatch that's
going to be cut in half and made into a trailer. Should
keep me busy!!
