Club Cars Manta CC Photo Gallery

Revised: January 29, 2008

Each picture is linked to its own web page.

Owned this Manta for 6 months now, it is totally original, never been welded or messed about and has only covered 21,000 miles from new.
I have had this car for just over 4 years, rescuing it from the back of a car sales showroom where it had been stood for 7 years, used as a skip for old batteries, tyres etc. This is my 1988 Manta GT, she doesnt look bad on the photo but she has her B581 NWK (was) purchased new on the 1st August 1984 from Main Dealer, colour spec. White Gold and dealer fitted glass sunroof, she has now only covered 42,200 miles, had a stainless steel custom made exhaust fitted 4 years ago, then replaced the GM Varijet auto choke carb. with a Weber 32/34 DMTL and a K & N air filter.
The car was going to be scrapped by previous owner because of a cracked windscreen and a small hole under washer bottle. C389 BVG is a perfect example of why E-bay is dangerous! Saved from a car cemetery I have had this baby since 1990 ..it's very reliable. This is my 2nd Manta hatch picked up by me after having a blow out on the motorway and coming in late to work, lo and behold there's a Manta behind me. We wave, stop off in a lay-by and talk briefly about Mantas, during which the question comes up 'Are you interested in another one'.  Unfortunately being bitten by the bug I duly say yes and a month later its all mine (no.7)!
....thought you might like to put this on the web site. It's Jackie's Manta hatch undergoing a transplant. First registered on 1st August 1986 at All Saints garage in Bromsgrove, this GT/E was bought by me in March 2003. E480 GVJ - 1986 Manta CC GT Modified - Hi to Everyone at The Manta's Owners Club. I joined the club last year but haven't been in contact much as I have been too busy working on my baby. A666 MFC - Manta CC GT/E, Anne Norris originally owned the car and sold it on two years ago to Chris Bert who then sold it to me a year ago. This is the first year I've entered anything into the concourse, I was really surprised at winning, it was marvellous! E100 DMM - Manta B Exclusive, The grand total I've spent on this car has been £1800, so it's not bad for a mint exclusive. The object of this was to keep it totally original, or as much as I could.
I bought this E-reg 2.0 GTE for £200, it had 68k on the clock with full sevice history from new!! I bought this car in October 1995 with just 25,780 miles on the clock, I then used it as my main transport for a couple of years, doubling the mileage in the process. It has now been slightly modified with GT/E Recaros inside, lowered springs with Bilstein shocks and GT/E wheels. E775 JHY - 1986 Manta CC Berlinetta, come August the 1st this year, it will be 14yrs since I've bought this car from new. I use the car every day she covers about 35 miles a day. She takes a lot of work to keep her in this condition I'm out there most weekends cleaning, I also keep her in a garage, which helps. I'm from Yorkshire and have driven mantas for the last 3 years; they're "brilliant" and my girlfriend thinks I'm sad. A730 DNJ - 1984 2.2 litre Manta CC Modified, I've had the car for about 7 yrs and I'm now the 14th owner! When I first got it, it was in pretty poor condition, somebody had sprayed it sky blue, it wasn't a good job, and you could still see the original metallic brown paintwork. They also used filler all over the place, so I ended up effectively replacing all the panels apart from the roof.
