I bought the car off him 5 or 6 years ago, too good to mess with, hence the white GT/E Exclusive which I bought 2 years ago.

This car has had extensive restoration work done on it by myself , then the 400 kit was fitted, managed to paint the car myself this summer.

It is 90% finished, the intention is to get her on the road next spring.

No mechanical mods done yet!

Still running 2.0 C.I.H. engine.

Both cars were shown at Aberdeen golden wheels, hopefully get one to Billing '04. Didn't make it to Billing this year as my "FORD" let me down!

A photo of my latest quest to get another Manta project on the go.....by stacking up my existing mantas, by the way never mind the MGB, its just a visitor and will soon be finished.

I have just bought a manta B this week (21/12/2004), its got all the extras described on the website.

Blue interior, alloys x 5, Sunroof and vinyl, it's a 2.0 SR/Berlinetta. The car has had only one owner and covered 14000 miles since new, but is in need of work.

Since that sickening day the car was put past in a garage and the weather was getting through the garage door, rotting the lower front valence.

There are some other bits n pieces to weld repair, but not all of the usual spots..... so I am told, will see!

This is how it looks now......so will see how long it takes to get her back to original. A while to go I guess.

I have seen this rally Manta on one of the web sites..... but I caught it at the Jim Clark rally this year, great to see a Manta , too many escorts. Also a Chevette from the Jim Clark.
