Overview
The GT Exclusive was introduced in 1988 to replace the
standard GT model. As the GT/E Exclusive had proved so
popular, with its quad headlamps and individual styling,
the 1.8S GT was given the same treatment. The standard GT
model was dropped and the 1.8 Exclusive became the only
hatchback model available. If featured green tinted glass
and grey Twill sport cloth upholstery.
The
1.8 Exclusive stayed in production up until the end of
1988, when the last Manta left the line at the Opel
Factory in Antwerp.
