I bought this car when I was 18 and have had the car for 8 years now, it is an Opel Manta GTE Exclusive Coupe.  It was used for everyday use for the first 2 years as a 2ltr but I soon got tired of fantastic looks but a lack of performance.

I looked at a number of different conversions including 3ltr Monza, 2ltr 16v Vauxhall; but my dad owning a V8 SD1 Rover for 15 years and growing up listening to a V8 throughout my childhood kind of swayed me to the V8.

My dad and I converted the car 5 years ago and I used the car as a V8 for 12 months.  The car now has been off the road  for 4 years to have a strong motor fitted and undergo a full body restoration.  Although the paint could have been better.  Its hard to get an immaculate finish on a cool April morning, the car now is 99% complete and I am hoping to get it back on the road for the summer of 2005.
