Owner:

I'm the third
owner of this car and I bought her when she was three
years old in immaculate condition. On the 24th Dec 94 she
had a rear shunt, unfortunately she was a write off.
After 4 yrs
in storage and a lot of nagging from my manta Rep, Ian
Hill, to get her rebuilt, he found me an i200 as a donor
car. So I had her professionally rebuilt with a total
respray in the original colour. I had all door & boot
locks taken out, added central locking and electric
windows, lowered her by 30mm, with Bilstein shocks. I've
relocated the fuel pump assembly into the boot with a
false floor and all the fuel lines replaced with
Goodridge stainless steel hoses. Body MoD's include twin
headlights, 3 piece rear spoiler and recently added an
RMJ rear skirt. The whole of the interior inc. doors
& inner rear wings were covered in soundproofing. A
new rear parcel shelf was made up to hide the rear
speakers and also new speaker pods to the front of the
doors installed.

Just recently
I've added the smaller VW Polo heater, as I needed room
to add a second battery to run the I.C.E. system. An
uprated Alternator from a Senator currently helps out at
the moment, but this still isn't enough. Currently I'm
doing a Carlton 5 stud & rear disc conversion, all
this is in preparation for the V8 engine conversion,
which is in the pipeline. I'm currently now a member of
the V8 Register, and with their help have bought the V8
lump, stripped it down ready for a total rebuild with
Nitrous injection in mind. The skies the limit as they
say. I do use her every day for work and not having a
garage she takes a lot of work to keep tidy, but she's
definitely worth every penny and minute I spend on her.
Finally I would like to say thanks to Ian & Cheryl
Hill for their support & Shaun O'Connell from the V8
Register.
