Manta B Exclusive
More club cars?
Owner:

| I've owned the
car since 1991, and I'm currently the third
owner. When I bought the car it had very low
mileage but generally the car was quite tatty.
Back in Nov 92 I totally stripped the underside
of the car, removing the gearbox, axle, and fuel
lines. I cleaned all the seams rust proofing it
all and repainting the underside. It was a long
job and off the road until 2 weeks before Billing
in 93. And that was the first and last time it
won the car of the show! So I was quite shocked
and pleased that I won car of the show this year,
maybe it was me cleaning the underside again! I'm
very happy with the car, as it seems to do quite
well in its class each year. The interior is all
original apart from the drivers seat centre which
when I bought it had all cigarette burns in it so
I replaced that. |

Other than that
it's all pretty clean I do all the work myself I
even had a go at spraying the engine bay using
canned aerosols. At the moment the brake brake
callipers are seized and as they are no longer
serviced in this country, I've managed to get
some original ones from Germany.
I keep the car
garaged and although it's not an everyday car I
do take it out once a week for a run except when
its raining! I have a hatch for my every day car
that I use for work and over the years I've owned
about 5 Mantas one being a Rally car, which used
to race, I often wonder where it is now. Anybody
